How to buy a Vaillant boiler

Reasons to replace your current gas boiler

Upgrading your boiler can be a costly investment but there are multiple benefits of modernising and replacing your existing boiler:

  • New boilers are often more energy efficient resulting in savings on household energy bills. Paired with a Vaillant heating control or thermostat, you can potentially make even greater savings on your bills without being wasteful. New boiler installations must comply with Boiler Plus Government legislation meaning they must have a temperature control fitted and the heating system must meet or exceed an ErP efficiency of 92% during operation.

  • If you have an old boiler that is non-condensing, it will probably be classed as a band G boiler, with an energy efficiency of less than 70%. All Vaillant boilers are ErP 'A rated', meaning they have an energy efficiency of 90%.

    Consultation

After filing out the Find an Installer form and you've heard back from them all, your chosen installer will visit your property to scope out the type of installation. They will look at your current heating system, boiler placement and if any further work needs to be carried out.

They may ask you some questions about your radiators, what type of heating control you want fitting and access to and from your property.

The installer will also provide you with a quote for the work carried out and how long the installation will take to complete.

This will also be the opportunity to ask your installer any questions about your new heating system and you can arrange a fitting date to suit you directly with your installer.
